Chemical Guys Jetseal WOW

That Bimmer is soaking wet! My only question is this: The end result speaks for itself with just an app of JS. I want to know what were your steps prior to application? As the saying goes...90% of the work is prep. TIA

CG Wash and Gloss

Menerza SIP and Nano for polish

It looked good w/o Jetseal, but JS made it very wet.

And honestly Souveran didnt do anything visually, just enhanced the feel of the car.

I love putton on and taking off Souveran, so nice.....

Thanks. We love the CG Wash and Gloss too! I'll have to give Paul a call and place an order for a few gallons of stuff!

Until we get some time under our belts using these new products, everything up to that point will be educated guesswork and speculation so please keep that in mind.

Of course. That is why I said "guess".

I wish CG's would become a sponsor, and then we could just ask them directly here on the forum.

I too feel there would be a win-win-win but then I am the least qualified to talk about anything.

Anyway, if bonding issues weren't an issue, yes, I think topping WMF with jetseal would provide a higher shine, but that's because I am thinking jetseal produces a higher shine than WMF in any situation. Again, I haven't tried them yet, so I am basing this on the description on the labels, and other info I have received from various sources.

Hmmmm, I will use one of my favorite quotes that answer is in the pudding as an excuse ... err ... justification to spend money on jetSeal (assuming price I can afford at this moment) and try half/half (one half jetSeal only, other WMF under/over jetSeal) on the hood of my black Supra.

I would love to see that comparison for both looks and durability.

I will definitely do it, but I can't promise any timelines, I am working slowly due to circumstances. Plus I hope I will not be able to test durability as I hope it will be a quick sale :)

What I rellay would love to do is do 4-way comparo on looks: just jetSeal, just OptiSeal, WMF+jetSeal, and David's new sealant. I have OptiSeal, I have WMF, I hope I will get jetSeal, but at $70 for David's sealant I had to pass on it last night as I was pre-ordering :sadwavey:

...and the durability is awesome...1/2 oz does my entire 350z....

Like I said before, I'm very interested in this product....:)

- Could you let members know more about your durability test on Jetseal? Were you one of beta testers?

- I found a thread (about Jetseal and other CG products) you started like a month ago. Was that your first time using those products? Here is the thread I'm talking about. http://autopia.org/forum/detailing-product-discussion/89768-chemical-guys-new-toys.html

- 1/2 oz (15ml) for coupe...not bad.

Excellent work FMINUS! Another thing I want from Chemical Guys now...

So $40 for a 16. oz bottle?

I have some on the way to me from CG. I can't wait to try it out on my metallic RX-8. It will be my LSP and just spraying some Extreme Slick QD on it.

I would love to see what it looks like on a car without and polishes underneath.

SIP and 106ff will leave a gloss so insane anyway. Look at my avatar as it is just SIP 3.02 and 106ff..NO lsp. All done by rotary too!

Anyway sounds like a great product and will have to pick some up along with some wash and gloss.

Great looking car too!

Very great job and wonderful pics. I have sent a question to cleanandshiny uk about the postage to germany so I will surely buy and test the Jetseal next weeks. Its hot.
