Chemical Guys HYBRID V7 - Optical Select High Gloss Spray Sealant .... Does anyone else use this product??? I really like it. Easy to use. Leaves a nice shine. Comments....
 
I've used it. I agree, easy to use. I can't really compare to other detail sprays though. The only thing I don't like with Hybrid V7 is that it streaks a little bit. What I like to do is mist and wipe with one side, then flip my towel to the other side and wipe again.
 
Would you guys say that V7 is better in looks and durability compared to AW and Z8?





2) Who looks better FK 425 or V7?

BUMP, Does anyone use V7 besides me??? I would say this is one of those "must have" or should try products. Wonder if CG'S has like a trial size???
 
It produces a awesome, high gloss transparent shine to any exterior surface. Very easy to use. Makes paint look like it has a glass coating on it. To me it edges out Z-8 by a little. Either product will definitely give your finish a extra boost.
 
I prefer OCW, AW and Meg's Ult. Spray Wax.



I still use V7 but will not buy again, looks good though. So many products have similar shine and act the same way. AW my fave due to using as a drying aid.
 
Thanks MDRX8. Yeah, to be honest I bought Z-8 from all the rave reviews at the time but when I used it I didn't notice anything special from it on my black car. Among this class, I would say AW truly makes the car look "special" the next day after application. I have not yet found any product that yields the look of AW but in a more durable medium i.e. paste/sealant.

I use and like V7. IMHO it adds "something" to metallics. I've gotten "bitten" by CGs product hype on more than one occasion and V7 is no exception. I use it over Black Light and together I think they're a great combination that looks better the next day.



But, I feel the same way about FK 1000P topped with FK Pink Wax. After a day to cure, this is a great combo too. If you're placing a CG order, they're pretty good about giving you a sample of another one of their products.

Tony speaks: Z8 can get a little streaky and I don't think it lasts that long, FK425 - not a bit better than the Majestic Solutions "Showroom Shine" they used to have and SS was cheaper. AW - smells good, looks good, adds a little protection and it's a local (North Carolina) company too.



Now me and Manny gonna pay Frank a little visit....
