If you want to support the cheerleaders, scouts, drama club or any other organization holding a charity car wash... just walk up and give them the money... don't let them touch the car, unless you want damage to your paintwork!

No, that was just after I had rented a car when mine was in the shop and left my camera in it.

When I was just out of college and had my Prelude (been a while), I was driving by my high school, and they were having a car wash. So I said "let's support my old alma mater," and stopped. What a mistake!!! And this was before I was OCD. The kids screwed around and bent my antenna and didn't even attempt to clean the car. That was the last time I ever used a charity car wash!!!
