I finally spoke to the NeverWet rep (they called me back). This product has 2 variations, the first one "A Coat" is designed to be a fabric guard/stain repellant. They claim "it's better than scotch guard" however she said it is not very good over time and needs to be re applied in high-foot traffic areas. This will be available in 10-12oz aerosol form.
The other variation is "I Coat" made for plastics and metals. This product IS NOT recommended for paint or glass because it cures to a matte finish and has a clouding effect. FURTHER MORE...the product is ludacris expensive. $395/gal. It is a 2 part primer/topper which has a shelf life of 3 days once opened.
