Check this stuff out. Could be better than Rain-X.

i googled the company then sent them my info through their contact form. Hope this isn't like a dealer-only or 55gallon only kinda thing!

If you've ever played with 303 fabric guard, its as powerful as that. Most intense beading I have ever seen.

Looks interesting. I'm currently using Glass Science Rain Clear Gel. It's economical and I like how easily it spreads on the windshield. Overall a good product.

I thought everyone knew that Aquapel is 10000000000000x superior than rain-x. No need for alternative.

I like the durability of Aquapel, but IMO Rain-X does a better job of repelling rain. At 50mph+ it doesn't matter much, but light drain and slow driving, Rain-X blows it away.

Indeed.

Aquapel with PIAA silicone blades is a pretty good combo, albeit expensive.

Ive reverted to Rain-X with Rain-X washer fluid. The booster fluid makes it very effective and "durable" while being very easy to maintain.

Or you can just use Rejex or other wax/sealant products on the windshield.

The Invisible Glass Windshield Fluid with Bug Splash and Rain Repellent isnt stacking up the Rain X 2 in 1 Fluid in my testing so far.

Is there a concern with clarity with it being silicone based and putting in on windows?

And it seems to act like Armor All wheel protectant at first.

I am interested in the details and availability.

Agreed Aquapel lasts far far longer then rainx. I'm lazy so I hate applying rainx all the time. Aquapel usually gets me about 6 months. With Rain-x I would have to apply that 6 to 12 times to get the same time span.

Poxy applied to the windshield has also given me good results so far this rainy season. I don't know how long it will last compared to Rain Clear, but its been good so far.

Thank you for your interest in our NeverWet superhydrophobic coatings. We've received an incredible amount of email and phone contact recently regarding various news articles published on our technology (over 15,000 inquiries!), and we apologize for the delay in getting back to you on your request. We've even been asked if the video demonstrations are real, so let me take this opportunity to assure you that it is completely real and NeverWet is very revolutionary!

It appears from the contact you recently made with us that you're interested in using one of our coatings for a personal application. We are diligently working on finalizing a number of our coatings in aerosol cans that can be used by end users such as yourself to provide you with the same, extreme water repelling features that you witnessed in some of our videos. At this time, these products are not yet available to the general public, as we complete our testing to bring you a product that will amaze you as much as our industrial coatings. We believe you will find our products well worth the wait when we reach the level of quality that has brought us the same level of demand from our manufacturing and industrial customers. We anticipate that you'll be able to purchase some for yourself by mid-2012. We have you on our mailing list, so you don't need to do a thing... we'll be in contact with you again when product is available for purchase!

Please feel free to monitor our web site and Facebook page (NeverWet Products) for the latest news releases on our consumer products, as well as details of products that will soon be released directly from manufacturers who have incorporated our technology into their products.

We will also be sending you another email shortly with some answers to many of the frequently asked questions we've received. Unfortunately it's difficult for us to answer every question, so we hope that these will help to answer some of the questions you have about our products and that you may have included in your initial email contact with us. We think you'll also find it helpful to learn more about our technology in general.

they answered my request last month with the above. They mentioned it would be in aerosol form. i promptly indicated that aerosol makes for uneven displacement and uncontrolled overspray. Hope they put that into the production notes!

thank god for autopians. I didnt even get a response after 4 trys to find out their future marketing.

I did find out they will be selling in 2012 off the youtube video.

Has Anyone done a thread regarding Diamond shield Vs Aquapel?
