Check out your motorcycle shop

I like to go to the Harley shop and check out what products they carry. Most cycle owners are freaks like us an insist on only the finest product for thier bikes. It's a great place for chrome polish and they have some interesting brushes you don't find every where. Mine Carries S100,ps21 and a lot of great wheel cleaning products. I buy most of my stuff through our autopia store but it's nice to have some options.

surprisingly, the harley brands of detailing products are pretty decent quality, but since my regular vehicle detailing supplies are very good quality, that's what i use on my bike also. my dealer carries a lot of p21s, s100 supplies too, very good stuff.

They have been selling these fine products for a long time, but I always find that the price's are higher then the Autopia Store and remember you get your 10% discount also. But when in out of something then it's a must to go there and also look at the bikes too.

Harley-Davidson (Motor Co.) itself does not manufacture any detailing products.
It is all private labeled products from assorted chemical producing companies.

Now I will admit there are some HD products for leather etc. I like & enjoy using.
I used to have a list somewhere that stated who made what and what is called.
One of the items on the list was Syn3 it is manufactured by Citgo Petroleum :-(

E.G. Honda Glare Professional Polish is private labeled GLARE Professional Polish.
Another "Honda" product was the Honda Spray Cleaner & Polish everyone loves.

Motorcycle enthusiasts like a clean and shiny bike but they are not "detailers".

IMHO the best tool for washing a motorcycle was the DC'd Mr. Clean Auto-Wash.
Follow that with a blow dryer and a good wax or sealant and you're good to go.

I use Bike Brite spray on cleaner and finish with a spray detailer. I use never dull on the chrome.
