Check out this paint job!

Nice. There was an H2 at SEMA this last year that had the same type of paint treatment and it looked like it was on fire.

A couple months ago i seen a show on the process. The guy was magical with an airbrush. I think it took something like 12 or 13 layers to get it "real". All free hand. I should have taped it.

Looks alot better than cartoon flames.

I will probably get flamed for this, but I don't like the paint or the car. I respect the skill involved, but yuck. I hate how station wagons have come back into vogue, yet no one will call them station wagons (Toyota Matrix, Dodge Magnum, Mazda 3 5-door, Subaru Outback, etc.). I think in a couple more years there will be a glut of these things out there trying to be sold second hand, and they will become just as repugnant as the old Chevy Caprice boxmobile wagons are. Of course for some reason there is always a market for wagons. Just my $.02, don't kill me. :)

not bad. i like how the paint warranty is still good. can you imagine trying to fix that? :shocked

but didn't one of jesse jame's monster garage machines have a similar flame job? i think it was a rocket powered celica. somehow that one looked more realistic. to each their own. :)

Not that I would even consider owning anything Dodge, but I would rather have it in factory paint. :nixweiss

Gotta respect the skill and talent to do such a job though. :xyxthumbs
