If you want to do this full time in San Fernando you will have to adapt to the water reclaim enforcement at some point. I know that Jose at Superior does this and does very well. It's hard to make money by being under equipment(ized). Perhaps you are just starting and don't have the financial resources to purchase such equipment- many detailers started this way. However, make sure you have a plan to reinvest so that you can get the needed equipment.

That's an article I wrote for PC and D that you might find interesting on odor removal. Make sure when shampooing that you do not over saturate the area. An extractor will do wonders over a vacuum for removing water and soil from the fibers of the carpet..not to mention the solution. There are some smaller units for mobile detailers that are more affordable these days.
