Here was my process.

1. wash with meguiars
2. clay using suds as lub
3. wash again
4. Poorboy SSR1
5. Poorboy polish
6. 3 coats of EX

The car looks amazing and I cannot say enough about the poorboy products. I had some issues with the polish but I believe it was the way I was applying it. Anyways here are the pics let me know what you think

Yah I would recommend it to anyone. This is my first full detail using a PC etc and I was nervous at first, but once I started seeing results I was quite impressed. EX goes on smooth and I found keepin a spray bottle handy to keep the pad moist helped the application and made it easier to spread evenly.

Is that a functional side exhaust? I think it looks sweet.

The detailing job itself came out REALLY good!!! Its tough to get black looking that good.

Off topic: my dad just traded in his V6 'Stang for a GT convertible.........I hope Im that lucky when Im old!!! I just got to drive it..........what a sweet ride.

Very nice work

You did a fine job for your first full detail...pictures can't always tell the whole story but we can see a very beautiful and clear reflection and if you're happy I'm happy.

Yes using too much Professional Polish is a nono ....it will make it harder to work with..goes totally against all business principles...I want you to use less!!!;)

chris: yes thats a functional side exhaust. Roush's come stock with that setup.

Poorboy: Yah I think thats what I did, it was hard to get off and didnt seem to come to a haze as quickly as the instructions said. Anyways I know better for next time :)

Thanks for everyones feedback!

Charles: I did a coat of 303 and then UPP. I dont know if anyone has used UPP on tires or if its even good to use it, but it came out pretty nice

303 happens to be my choice for tires, but I have never even thought about using UPP on them. Did you apply it, let it dry for an hour before removing? While not everyone will agree, I think your tires look the way tires should look. Love that matte finish. 303 may be a little pricey, but I do think it is worth it.

Very nice!!! I didnt know Roush made a GT, I thought it was reserved only for the Cobra.

Even nicer car than I thought :)

HOLY SH*T

took the clean car to work, before I drove it home I took out my duster and dusted it off. When I got home pulled it in the garage and noticed light scratches all over the car. Could the stupid duster caused light scratches? If so, im gonna burn that thing with gasoline :( im so pissed

You guessed it!!! The duster has no lubrication for the dust and dirt, contrary to many peoples beliefs, it can not be dragged along a dusty/dirty vehicle especially BLACK and expect not to see marks....I use mine for dusting in the house:rolleyes:
