Cheap MF for Canucks

Big Leegr

Swirls?!?! NNOOOOOOO!!!!!
Hi there. Just a heads up if you're looking for cheap (and I mean that in the broadest sense!) microfiber cloths. This week SuperStore has them on for $1.00 each. 70/30, about 12"x12", various colors, made in China, not too plush, kinda "grippy" feel, special buy. These are the same ones (from what I can tell-look, feel, package) that are sold at Dollarama stores for a dollar as well (only blue available here). If you have Wal-Mart USA 5/$5.00 cloths, the wm mf's are bigger, plusher, "grippier", and has more stitching around the edge. Remember-I said CHEAP, and I meant it!

Actually I found that dealing with Ranney at Pakshak was the way to go for me. The combination of his nice Autopia discount and the willingness to ship to Canada via US Postal Service made the cost of his towels overall quite reasonable. And especially if you're looking for WW's as well, which I'm pretty sure can't be bought locally.

I've also found the occasional deal by buying from local paint supply shops that supply the 3M, Norton, Meguiar's, etc. MFs, but I think the Pakshak ones are nicer IMHO.

I agree. There are plenty of cheap MF's now at Costco, Walmart, and all kinds of places, but they are never as good as the ones from Pakshak or Autofiber.com.

For my paint, it'll always be mail order from Pakshak or one of the other reliable vendors, including JT Int. For everything else, I don't mind the cheapies.

I just got 6 of those today. I do agree they don't feel as plush as I thought but they feel kinds grippy. I'll use them on everything except my paint. Oh well, what can you expect from a dollar.

How can I contact JT Int. to check out thier MF towels? I used to have an email address I think, but can't find it anymore. Thanks!

Hi dlw,

I believe Tom has mf towels on Ebay. Do a search under "microfiber towels" or "micro fiber towels".

He usually has a listing and you should be able to find his contact info.

With Aloha,

Ranney :)

And Pakshak ships for free!

Not to Canada, as far as I know. (at least, he didn't for me)

But having the option of US Postal Service instead of a courier is still a HUGE help to us. Much less back-end fees. Thank you Ranney! :xyxthumbs
