changing air tire into nitrogen??

I have it in both cars the best part of it is the tires do not loose air as quickly, or hardly at all. There are other benefits but can't recall at the moment.

Waste of money! The advantages: weight savings, no water vapor, eliminating oxygen attack on rubber and more stable under temperature swings can all be shown to be negligible effects for a domestic car.

Ripoff IMO.

If you listen to their spiel then it is just the most amazing thing ever...

I did this once for my Sky and then did my research. If it had been 5$ maybe would be worth it but I paid a lot more than that.

Thing is air is like 75% nitrogen anyway.

Also do you really think they remove the existing moisture from your tire before applying the nitrogen. They remove the air but that doesn't mean they got all the moisture out.

Third unless the people along the entire system really take proper care then oxygen has been introduced into their supply of nitrogen anyway.

It was supposed to lose air slower but instead it went faster believe it or not... When it came time I plugged my compressor into them and added the needed air...

I don't see the point. I might be willing to try it on my TA since it is rarely driven but on my daily driver I think it would be pointless. If I get a low tire I only have access to my compressor not a nitrogen station unless I go to a tire shop which I find to be a pain

I'm waiting to see how this works on my tires, because it was put in when I got a new set of 4 tires about 5 months ago and haven't had any problems yet. This is the first time for me, but time will tell.......:inspector:

My car came with nitorgen but when I got a flat and they wanted to charge me to fill the tire again I said NO. I went to a tire shop and let the nitrogen out and filled them up with air.

Spent 10 Grand on the machine all I can say I'm not so impressed except for one time when my wife picked up a nail in the tire and the tire held up better then without the Nitro .

I will have to live without nitrogen in tires. It is clearly a solution looking for a problem (done strictly for profit).

Main thing for me is that the tires lose air a lot slower when you have nitrogen in them. Of course, I only paid 200 pesos (less than 5 dollars) for it, and I get free lifetime topups :D
