Also, please don't overlook the Waffle Weave Drying Towel (from Ranney's PakShak) as it is a powerful drying tool.



Better yet, get one of both and decide for yourself! :D
 
I concur. I use the Big Blue (another ww derivative) after many years of faux chamois usage. Amazing difference. Thirstier, and smoother on the paint. Give it a shot, I command you!

I used chamois (both natural and synthetic) for many years. Once I discovered waffle weave microfiber towels a couple years ago I've put away the chamois for good. The towels are totally superior to chamois.



This doesn't mean you shouldn't use a chamois. If you like them, use them. But if you're interested in something better waffle weave is the way to go.
 
I've been using the absorber for the past 2 years and was ok with them. Seemed like there had to be something a little better. I just ordered some more MF towels from Ranney and decided to try his ultra fine towels and WW towel. I can't wait to get them.
 
Yeah i'm the same. Chamois still have some uses. I use my perforated professional chamois that i get from Care distributors (paint refinishing product wholesalers) to clean my fabric seats

Some CL7 and a damp chamois work well. I certainly wouldn't use a scrubbing brush on the seat fabric. I can't afford an extraction machine so i'm stuck with that.



Actually i recently started washing my dishes with one of these chamois. Works heaps better than any household sponges.
 
I was Absorber all the way .. now I have MF and recently Rennys Big WW. Mind you the Absorber to me still has a use. After I use the hose with no nozzle on it to purge most the water from the car I take the dampened Absorber and hold it by 2 corners and pull it over the flat areas of the car .. roof/hood/trunk/windows. One walk-around will pull of an amazing amount of water with no ringing. The the WW to finish off.

I'm another convert from chamois to The Absorber and now to waffle weave towels from www.pakshak.com



His ww towels are great and are superior to all other drying materials I've tried. The chamois and Absorber are in the cabinet...period.:xyxthumbs



I use a California water blade first, then the ww towel.
