Challenged with a carwashed car

The detail challenge was only on making the vehicle's shine deeper and the amateur that I am these are the results....

IMO I think this was a stage 1 paint as i seen allot of the green on the white pad with Menzerna pp ultra on the hood and this could not be oxidisation due to the history of the 96 Golf 1 the rest of the body was safely cleaned with shield polish, toped wit poorboys white glaze and then collinite.

Could well be a good that you didn't get too aggressive with it, that paint might be a little fragile judging by the bumpercovers.  Note that even somewhat pampered single stage paint can oxidize, sometimes a lot more than you'd expect, it's just the way that type of paint is.


 


I bet it's a night-and-day difference in person, and I love those old Golfs/rabbits.
