CH.Detailed - 1968 Ferrari 330 GTC

Truly exceptional work and great documentation and pictures!

Out of curiosity, how many hours did you have into this?

excellent work & the pictures tell the story just great! always good photography & a good read when i open one of your threads.
thats a really nice ferrari. she looks great now.

Thanks again guys, I always appreciate the feedback!

Jason, the final tally was slightly over 20 hours, 7 of which went into the correction.

Awesome job Connor. Love your format and work, especially your attention to the little things; for example, touching up the oil filters! (by the way, with such an amazing car, you may want to talk to the owner about his oil filter selection, unless fram makes some good filters).

Back on track, thanks for sharing your work with us. :rockon

I agree, the Frams are questionable. He still has some maintenance to do on the car before he can start enjoying it, so hopefully they will be replaced by something of better quality.

Well the car finally got back from Motion Products after being in their hands for slightly less than 3 months. Nothing major, just some simple maintenance to get the car up to snuff.

MPI treated the car well, and there are only a couple light marks on the fenders, which is better than most places would do. Unfortunately the oil dipstick was loose which caused the car to spit oil all down the sides! It should clean up well, but that will get sorted out on Thursday before we take it up to Road America for the Road and Track concours event on Saturday.

Yesterday I took the old girl out for a photoshoot, it still has some oil on it and some bugs on the front, so don't expect it to be immaculate.

It might be exceedingly beautiful, it might make a fantastic sound, and it might push you back into your seat with only a blip of the throttle, but damn if it isn't a brute to drive around! I think I'll keep my Subaru for a daily. :)

I always love your photography. The second set of pics is awesome!

Was that 330 at FCA 2009?

Wayne did a 275 GTS after the Copperstate Sandstorm for a client. He does great work.

I'm not sure of the history on this car, its been with the current owner since January, and it was out of his hands for half that time.

I have yet to get inside Motion's shop, but I've heard some amazing tales. A different client of mine has got a couple toys up there right now, hopefully I can tag along when he goes to pick them up.

Wow! How did I ever miss this one???

phenomenal job, Connor! Very thorough write up and documentation too!
