CG QD comparisons?

Can some of you Chemical Guys junkies out there compare Pro Detailer and Extreme Synthetic Detailer for me in the areas of cleaning ability, ease of use, and final finish? TIA.

The CG site has ratings for cleaning power, lubricity, etc..

I believe the consensus was that the Pro-Detailer has more cleaning ability, and is safer as a waterless wash, while the Synthetic QD is more of a gloss enhancer for already clean paint.

The site didn't have any rating for cleaning power under Synthetic Detailer, which is what I am mainly concerned about. I had a feeling that Pro Detailer was more suited to a waterless wash, but a CG rep told me that in his honest opinion Synthetic was better all-around, including cleaning ability. So I just wanted to know what the Autopians had to say. Thanks :hifive:

I think he may have meant to say the Synthetic QD works better as an overall QD (cleaning light dust, shining, no streaks).

Here's the email:

"Honestly,

Synthetic is a very different product. I personally like it more, it

cleans better works faster leaves a better shine and it even smells

better. You have to try it and give s feedback. and like all of our

products if its to good add some water ou can mix it 50% with distilled

water if needed."

I dilute Pro Detailer so there's less streaking. Other than that, I'm clueless...more economical, I guess, assuming it's just as good as when full-strength? :nixweiss
