CG On Amazon

Good catch! However, be sure to double-check their website for price. It seems that they vary from month to month (heck, sometimes week to week)

Not for me :D

Also tax is only figured into your price if the warehouse is in your state/if the vendor is located in your state.

Good news, now if Optimum would get on the bandwagon!!!

I think we might have to wait quite a bit for that to happen. From what I know this is the first time amazon has picked up a detailing vendor. (other than OTC Meguiars and Mothers)

If it's successful to them, I don't see why not.

I'm not sure its so much "picked up" VS pushed to sell. I've purchased stuff from no name sellers that ship via prime. They basically send amazon the product, and Amazon does the shipping.

yakky is right....

I was dropping something off at staples - UPS dropbox and there was like 40 boxes from someone who had dropped them off for UPS all waiting to got Amazon..

if you click on some of the CG products the price changes. The waterless wash says $ 28.95 if you click on it it comes up as $21.26

Some of the products are for sale from more than one vendor - It's somewhat common for Amazon to *not* have the lowest product price, but when you factor in shipping, it will come out lower in the end. In this particular case, "Professional Car Care" had a lower $21.26 product cost but shipping was an additional ~$14. Amazon's price of $28.95 included free shipping...i wish Amazon would just straight match the lowest price and still give the free shipping...

What is crazy about amazon is two people can see different prices on the same item. Amazon does some weird stuff, lots of articles dedicated to their pricing methods.

That's interesting.

Huge fan of video games so most of my money did go into purchasing games. I only buy now when its reduced instead of day one purchase, so I do check prices often when they go on a big sale/gold box. I've found the price to change almost day to day when they pull a Buy one get XX sale. 19.82 one day, 18.58 the next, then back to 19.99. Also Amazon doesn't price match AFTER the sale. So once its shipped you're stuck with the price you paid (which makes sense) so keep a close eye before the products ship out.

Man, I'm starting to feel like an amazon know it all... DOH. They will price match after the fact. You just have to know how to ask.

"Hmm, so you won't price match your new price? Oh well, I understand. I'd like to go ahead and return X then, I'll just buy another one at the new price."

"Oh, we'll price match it this time sir...."

LOL I've done that before but its a bit of a hassle if you have an *** of a CS on the phone. So I just watch the price before the item ships.
