CG New Car Smell

Fweeew! I just got in my order of CG's New Car Smell fragrance. I thought it might be nice to offer this option to my non-leathered clients. I usually leave a nice scent in the leather cars after applying their conditioners; however, this stuff I got from CG smells very odd in the bottle. I don't think I got a defective product, I just don't think it smells the way I expected it to smell. Does anyone here use it? Does it smell better once sprayed and allowed to settle for an hour? :thx

From my experiences, and some of my customers, I think it is a baby powder scent.

What does the CG Leather scent smell like? I read somewhere that it smells more like actual New Car Scent.

Smells like a leather store. I use it in all my cars, even the one without leather. Smells really good and seems to last a long time. I've had it in my convertible for a few days now and I can still smell it even though all I used was two pumps on the bottle.

Smelled weird in the bottle, but great in the car.

Is this meant to be diluted and put in a spray bottle to spray on the floormats? What is the recommended method of application?

Yeah I have it too. It does smell like JnJ Baby Powder :chuckle: I thought its going smell like the new car scent..unfortuante its not  . Oh well..

Yah, I just ordered the leather and new car scents from danase (didn't want to buy the huge gallons.)

The leather scent is great. Pretty much identical to the scent that I get when using 4* Leather Conditioner.

The new car smell is a joke though. I can't see myself using it in any car. The minute I smelled it, I got visions of 'scent in a can' and dangling scent trees.

Ah well, wasn't too expensive and I can use it to spray on the pet's couches.

I bought a gallon of this stuff with the same sort of idea. I used it once to cover up a funky smell when I didn't have time to find the culprit (mildewy trunk) and never used it again. It's not really a bad scent, it's just not something I would go out of my way to have to smell.
