CG M Seal & CG Factory Sealant

Magic Seal was discontinued for whatever reason. I have ONE of these but I'm not sure which one as it wasn't named yet when I got it so my bottle is labeled(with a marker) "Pure Seal." I have used both this and Magic Seal and they're obviously two different products. From what Paul tells me, these new products are COMPLETELY new formulations.

For the Factory sealant, I clayed and used their extreme all-in-one polish + sealant. Cant speak yet for M-seal, its on the to-do list though (this weekend perhaps!)

I actually traded away my extreme all in one from CG, i didn't like it at all compared to Klasse AIO, i tried them side by side on the hood of my car, same type of pad, and rotary and Klasses was far superior. But everything else CG's i love.

So which one is best? M Seal or Factory Seal

Both seem to be quality products. As for which is better......It's too early to tell. M Seal seems to provide a higher gloss. Both are ridiculously easy to apply & remove. Stay tuned...... :Geezx

I just got through applying CG Creme Glaze/ Micro Seal x2 combo to my black truck 2 days ago. Yesterday I QD'd it with FK #425 & man was it mouth watering! This morning, the Easter Bunny told me to to do a quick Z8 wipedown (he's cool like that) before I went to my parents house for Easter Dinner. Nice combo to use on black paint, I must say. I found myself staring at the hood of my truck viewing the cloud reflections as I drove on the highway. Just stunning!

I'm trying Factory sealant tonight for the first time, it's actually drying on the paint as I type. I'm excited to go buff it off in a few, if it's easier than KSG to remove it's already my new sealant of choice...I'm fed up with KSG. Any durability updates?

When last tried both, they seemed to be about the same as far as application/removal and looks. Pick up a bottle of both and try them side by side...

Well I just buffed off my first application of FS factory seal, and can't believe how easy it was. It came off as easily as souveran or any other product I've used that simply wiped off with ease. Major thumbs up there compared to KSG. 30 minutes after buffing off the paint I finished doing some stuff in the interior and decided to check out the paint. It has a similar look as far as I can tell to KSG, however it's much slicker/smoother to the touch. So far it gets a huge vote over KSG in application and paint slickness... hoping some will chime in on durabilty that posted a few months back in this thread. I'm waiting for coat #2 to dry...I allowed the first coat to cure about a half hour.

I got about 2 months of premium optics & durabilty from FS & MS. They're not quite in the same durability category as KSG or AJ, but I've had succuess using MS as a topper for FS. Now that CG has their new Blitz product out, it should aide in and extend the durability of the FS/MS. I also found that Sonus Acrylic Spritz & Acrylic Glanz work very well with FS/MS. But what really kicked the combo up a notch was FK #425 & FX-100.

Now that I've put a second coat on, buffed it off, and it's had an hour to cure, it's looking awesome. I take back when I said it looked about the same as KSG, the looks are definitely noticeably superior. Hoping to get some good durability out of three coats of FS. I'm gonna apply the 3rd and final coat tomorrow.

I have 2 coats on my Jag. It has made the colors richer if that makes sense. I have had it for almost two months now. As mentioned its very reflective yet has very good depth. After four washes with CG Citrus wash (another favorite) and rainy days, Its still looking great and has retained its slickness (especially after I qd following a wash - which I and many here do regardless which sealant is used).

The best part is that it can be layered 20 minutes apart and is so easy to apply/remove. Hardly any reason to use a spray sealant if you dont want to. Now I do use CG Blitz (Its too early to tell, but this arylic spray sealant seems to take slickness up a notch and is working great on both sealants and carnauba:clap: ).

I like the practice of a booster product in theory, however I feel it totally clouds the durability issue. Even tho I have acrylic spritz and AW (on the way), I don't think I'm going to use it so I can accurately judge the durability of FS.

If you could only pick one, which one would it be?
