cg ez creme glaze

Hey, I've never used a glaze much before and I just got some ez creme. I tried applying it by hand with a mf applicator. It looked pretty good but I dont think I did this right at all. I would assume a glaze gets polished in quite a bit but for some reason when I applied the ez creme over my polycharge prime strong it dried instantly. I mean I did like one maybe two circular motions and it was dried and mf applicator would stick to truck so I didn't really polish it in at all. Its hot/humid here "i'm in the garage" so maybe thats the prob or maybe what it did is normal? Should I add a second coat using PC and black finishing pad? Just wasn't sure if I did it right or why it dried out so fast. thanks

Hi

In theory the glazing oils are not getting to your paintwork!! You are applying it over a sealant.

That said this stuff seems to leave behind a layer or product that looks wet and glossy.

Its a pretty easy product to use and dries quite quickly, so i think it went as intended over something else.

Nebraskaz71,

I've not used the glaze by hand, but it does disappear very quickly when you apply it by PC. There's almost no working time required . . . spread it around on a low speed to make sure you cover the entire area, then bump up the buffer speed and go to it. It usually only takes me one or two relatively fast passes with the PC, and the glaze just disappears into the paint.

I'm not sure why it dried out so quickly on you when you used it by hand, but give it a go with the Porter-Cable; I think you'll be pleased.

I agree definately use a PC. I used to apply Wet mirror finish by hand then switched to my PC. A huge difference ,same with EZ CR.

how much polycharger do i use with AJT no one seems to knwo and its not listed anywhere :(

2 doses per oz. Which is the standard dose

The same as Klasse SG and AJ (AJT is just the same active ingredients as AJ in a thinner base and is also a 'cousin' of KSG)
