CG 50/50 or Pete's 53

I love the P21s100%, makes the flakes pop like crazy. Looking to try a new wax, just for the fun. Which one would you guys recommend, 50/50 or Pete's 53? Durability is not a factor here. I am looking for a wax that will not mute flakes and that will produce a nice warm, wet, deep look. I was also considering Souveran Paste, but I've read that it can mute the flakes a bit.
 
Since flake pop is a priority, I'd lean towards the 53. It has a different look than the 50/50 which is more akin to Souveran. There isn't a bad choice in the group though. Heck, give them all a shot for that matter. Then you'll know what YOU like best.

Thanks! Someone also recommended Pinnacle Series II for the flake pop.
 
detaildoc I'm in the same boat as you, but from everything I've read pete's is bee's knee's for flake pop it even says on cg's website made for metallics. so thats where I'm leaning plus it's half the price right now. either way your car will be happy.

I am definitely going for it. I am going to try Pete's and Souveran Sig Series 2. Half prize? I thought that was the regular prize at CG ($53)? Does anyone know if Pinnacle Crystal Mist QD is any good? Does it really improve or revive the look of Sig Series 2?
 
sorry it's been a couple of days since I looked at the website your right. but for the longest time up until last week even it was still "on sale" for $37.00. sucks they updated and raised the price.

Darn! :grrr. Oh, well, I guess we have to pay full price now.
 
If you want the met flakes to really pop using CG , put Wet mirror finish under either 50/50 or Petes53. I have used WMF under Zaino and its outstanding ( lowers durability of Zaino though)
