Ceramic coating applicator sponges?

I’ve used up all my suede towels that came with my c quartz kit. Amazon has a pack of 10 applicator blocks with a firm foam handle and a foam bottom half.

Is this OK to use? I know I’m being overly cautious but I spent 4 days working on this paint and coating it thanks fellas!

If you still have the actual towel that comes in the kit, cut that up and make some applicators. If not buy the bigger suede towels and do that. It will be more cost effective. Or invest in some autofiber saver applicators.

I would look at the Autofiber [Appli-Coat] suede microfiber ceramic coating applicators or even the [Saver Applicators]

Brilliant idea. I have one block left.

These guys don’t look like they’d be too absorbent which is what I’d want.

Thoughts?

If using a towel just do what the Guz recommended and get a 10 pack of the 16x16 Carp Pros suede towels. You can cut to size and save alot of money.

For ease of use I would second (third?) the auto fibers. I like the bigger flatter ones not the rectangles as the get into tighter spots better. It’s spongy but has a backing to not soak up excess product.

Most like the MF’s better than the suede applicators

As others have stated just get the Autofiber Saver Apps. They make applying coatings so much easier and help reduce product waste. I won`t coat with anything else.

+1 on these - really the best option - I treat them as a 1 use option.... but they are really nice for applicators and could be saved if not used for a coating application.

What do you use yours for after coating? I have used them to apply tire dressing.

Bought some microfibre towels for glass off amazon. I think they will do the trick and they were cheap.
