CD2 Engine Detail

Nope. I can't think of anything else that I would use it on other than the engine. It is too messy to use anywhere else. It is an aerosol spray and wouldn't be very nice to use on trim or tires.

It's diso'ed?!?!?!? I wish I knew that. I would have bought one of those cases mentioned. Good thing I have a couple of cans stashed away. From now on no more CD2 for anyone's car except my own.
 
Kill this thread guys!! The local store I buy CD2 from just jacked up the price to 7.99 a can!!!!! I used to pick it up for around 4 bucks. (LOL). I doubt they surf the boards, but I do wonder.

Not that I don't believe Al, but I've seen it happen too many times where a reputable person is given misinformation and it is then passed on as the gospel truth. So, I was on TurtleWax.com and it's not terribly easy to find, but under 2006 products CD2 Engine Detailer is still listed. I sent an email via the "contact us" page on the website to confirm whether the product has been disco'ed. I also asked if there were any other local places I could buy it. ;)
 
went back to the store i mentioned in a previous post and the guy had CASES of cleaner and detailer. $30 OTD. I happen to like the cleaner so i bought 2 cases of each. He still has a whole bunch.

Yes Mike I did find it on the site...I bought it at autozone when they were blowing it out for 1.99 a can..asked why getting rid of it..was told the rep told them it was going to be discountinued...maybe they changed thier minds..plus the can looks different than the ones I have...so they may have kept it..but won't pay 7.99 a can when it use to be under 5.00 before..plus buying online they wanted 10.00 to ship to Mass for 1 can......

I know carquest..napa...pepboys..autozone...advanced auto..and bumper to bumper do not carry it now..but maybe later they will..if they decided to keep it going...

Al,

I have no idea if your info was wrong, but if I had a $1 for every time some guy in an auto parts store gave me bad info I could retire. So, since I saw it listed on the Turtle Wax website I figured I would try to get some info "straight from the horse's mouth" so to speak. So far, they haven't responded to my inquiry.
 
I got a few cans at Autozone a few months back for $1.99 per. I went to
every Autozone in town going to buy it all. None left. I spoke to a manager of Autozone today and asked why? He said it did not sell well. Black Magic is what they see now. He said Black Magic was doing it on consignment so
Autozone did not have any moner in the stock. They pay for it when they sell it.
 
I picked up 3 cans at murrays @ $5.99 each, 2 cans left. Brings me up to a total of 4. This is Anthony's as i dont do engines :)
