CCS not all equal?

There are two different green foams on the LC pads. Their regular green foam is an aggressive polishing pad that fits between the orange and white. AG has LC make a softer green foam for them that is between a white and gray/black.

I am actually going through this with LC right now as we speak. I am in process of opening a new estore and will be stocking Lake Country pads. As I was putting together my initial order I noticed that there were two different part numbers for the same color same size CCS pads. One had a DA at the end of it. Sure enough after clarification from the LC rep, the DA pads are formulated with a stronger laminate to hold them together better under the added stress of a Dual Action machine. I'm guessing this is what the difference between your two pads is.

Hi Scott! I just received my orange pad from you yesterday. Thanks for the speedy delivery! As I stated in my earlier post(on page 1) that it didn't have any markings for the Lake Country manufacturer? Is that normal? Thanks for the Info and again for the quick delivery! I look forward to ordering more stuff from ya!

The flat DA CCS pad do not have anywhere to label them on the pad. The curved edge ones have the ability to be printed on the back of the pad.

I agree I have several pads with backing problems from CMA. Tried Gorrilla glue but you either use to much or not enough.

I have found the green foam at CMA different too -it's a softer feeling and performs better (for me) vs. green CCS pads from other vendors. Too bad CMA can't figure out how to address the backing material quality issue. I've given up on buying more pads from them until the issue is corrected.
