Cats....

OK, the last three nights in a row some cat has been jumping from the roof of my house to the hood of my truck and I got the scratches to prove it. This has got to stop! I can't really park anyplace else, so i need to figure out alternet methods. My roof is tile and I'm thinkin of putting somethin slick on the area above my roof to help the cat get the message. Any other ideas, I would rather no hurt the cat, but if it put one more scratch in my hood...

when my dog would go places i didnt like i got a ton of mouse traps and put them on the couch every time he jumped up there snap

after a few days he didnt want to be on the couch

so i suggest lay some towels down on your hood and lay some mouse traps see what happens

The dog's bones are tough enough to withstand mousetraps. But for a cat, the trap would fracture their bones.

You could blow up some small balloons and tape them to the towels. As soon as a cat paw hits one of them and pops it, I doubt he will jump there again.

I agree with the thought that the mouse trap could cause broken bones. You want to scare the cat, not hurt him, though sometimes it may sound tempting, particularly if you have to break out the PC after a cat visit.

Oh boy ! So many threads about cats in such a short time !

Ever noticed that cats come in as a problem along with winter right at the same time ?

I believe there is no humane way of ridding our rides of these pesky an loathsome creatures. So we could as well be better off withstanding the "paw terror" as bravely as we could...

Would it be useful to leash an attack do to your side wing mirror so that cats would not walk around your car ? :think2

A trained cat-killer dobermann or rottweiler; better yet, a pit bull terrier would have been a solution... The only problem would be that your guard would pee on your wheels and tyres... for that comes in a handy solution: get a female dawg... :lol :rofl

I was told to try dabbing tiger urine on your rim area or around the parking area. Not too much. Not enough for you to smell, but enough for the cat. Now where to get tiger's urine? LOL.
