Cars that are ALWAYS a mess

Volvo station wagons. The three that i have done have been absolutely trashed.

Almost all kid haulers, Minivan, suburbans, even the nicer ones. I have a trashed audi q7 in the works.

I have had a few surprises though. I have done A nice minivan and a trashed BMW 7 series. People who don't take car of their cars can appear in any vehicle make or model and vis versa.

any lexus SUV. never come across one that was in decent shape. usually the back seats/carpets are TRASHED by the children of the wealthy who could care less what their kids do to their "high-end" vehicles. yeah, i have a resentment.

I would agree also. The Minivan for me is always fun though. Children are just so inventive with the messes that they create. For instance:

How excatly do you accomplish that underneath a seat?

ah yes the lovely days of the kiddie vans i hate them an the construction workers

With very few exceptions, anything driven by a teenage girl or a soccer mom will be trashed. Tech guys usually have really filthy vehicles. 1st gen Expiditions are always nasty.

In Scotts defense, Your mom was a neat freak that put the beat down on you like Kimbo ! if your room was a mess that carried onto your car ? You can tell alot from the way people live in their cars.

It's a good thing I don't do interiors. All of my customers cars are very clean on the insides. It's usually the paint that is a mess.

I have had my fair share back in the day with awfull interiors.

i get upset when i get into my brothers car or any girl i know, god forbid i chew gum in my car never mind someone else eating in my car

I dunno, Accumulatorette and I eat in our vehicles without making a mess :nixweiss But yeah, nobody else had better expect to do it ;)

All you folks mentioning girlfirends/etc. with messy vehicles- I'd see that as a sort of test.

When I worked in part time in the detail department of a high end auto body shop, the vehciles guaranteed to be trashed were Peugeots (I think that's French for rolling dumpster :chuckle: ) and Range Rovers.

I swore that every Range Rover owner had at least two Golden Retreivers. I would vacuum enough dog hair out of a Range Rover to make another dog.. and the nose prints in the windows.... ugh! :furious: :hairpull

In my detailing venture.. 99% of the time soccer mom SUVS and minivans are trashed.

Land Rovers, Hummers (H2's), Cavaliers (LOL!), Blonde's Civics, and any vehicle I do that has a retail MSRP of 75k or higher. Yep. Expensive but they are always trashed.

How about Subarus? Not including WRXs, Subaru owners seem to try to get their cars a dirty as possible. :grrr

Looks like they try to wear dirt and mud as a " Badge of Courage".

I've been cleaning the cruisers for the local PD for about 4 years now...always trashed!!! But, that is to be expected due to the use and abuse they get. But, they also clean up really nice.

Ah, that's interesting! I see both sides of this- I've looked at a *LOT* of retired copcars, and yeah, most of 'em are trashed. But a few (including some that I then bought) were incredibly nice. My last 9C1 Caprice was just *spotless*, a supervisor's car from the VA state police's Virginia City maintenance facility.

Around here the local PD keeps their cruisers quite nice, and the local Highway Patrol troopers keep their take-home cars pretty clean too.

Heh heh, I once cleaned a lady trooper's windshield properly because the rest of the cruiser was so clean that I just couldn't stand the imperfect glass :D
