Carpet lines, how to.....post pics

yeah i know, i wanted to look at some pictures. Its a good write up though. Ill just have to do it without pictures. Just wanted to see some other results :xyxthumbs

I'm going to go ahead and update the thread/pictures with new ones once I get a chance. I will have to re-take them now, as the originals are long gone and I don't even own that truck anymore.

Bummer. I was hoping to see some pics on how its done as well. SLD if you can take new pics with your writeup that would be awesome. :up

yes, that's a great great write up :woot2:, please update soon :D

Anyone else that has some good pictures, I would like to see them!

I do have a couple to give a general idea of the finished look, maybe these will tide you over until I get around to updating the thread:

yeah, ill have to try that out tomorrow! :xyxthumbs

I have a regular stiff bristle carpet brush, will that work?:nixweiss

How do you guys clean carpets? The reason I ask is because I use an extractor, and to me its just second nature to put lines in the carpet and it takes just a few seconds. Sometimes I use straight lines as pictured, or triangles...

Yeah, thats all I use.

and magictouch: I use elbow grease to scrub and an LGCM to extract. It doesn't always work to leave lines behin with the LGCM so I do it manually later to ensure precision.
