My 4 gallon unit runs 20 amps. I run a Honda 2500 gen. I can heat the water while cleaning the interior. When it gets to 170 deg., I turn off the heater and run the pump and vac with no problems. Even when I plug into houses if I run all three at once I blow fuses..especially in older homes.
