Carpet extractor maintenance

Does anyone know if I can get the Mytee system maintainer locally or would I have to buy it online? I've had my Mytee hp 60 for over six years now and have never done any kind of chemical flush of the unit. The water pressure coming out of the nozzle has recently gone down so I'm thinking it might be due to hard water deposits. If not the Mytee specific cleaner, is there  a similar product that I might be able to purchase at a local store that would work?

You can remove the jet from the hand tool and make sure its completely clean...also the entire hand tool can be taken apart and cleaned. The 2 most common areas on the hand tool that clog are the jet and the solution pig tail hose.

I suggest removing the jet from the hand tool.  Mix a solution of 5 parts water with 1 part white vinegar and put it in the solution tank.  Run half the mixture through the machine and out the hand tool.  Let the solution sit overnight.  Next day run the rest of the solution through.  Then remove the filter in the solution tank and take a garden hose and hold it up to the fitting and turn the water on.  Turn the pump on and depress the valve on the hand tool.  This will flush any particles and build up that was in the lines and pump.

^Recommendations I got from a Mytee rep.

Distilled vinegar will definitely work. Or you can use a CLR mixture. I keep up with mine so I do the vinegar mixture once a month. Works great and cleans out the system very well.

Ensure you rinse fresh water through the system very well.
