what are some good chemicals to use to get stains out of carpets. not minor stains i mean really really stubborn stains

I use Megs APC+ at 6-1 dilution for heavy dirt and grease. Presoak, scrub with brush, and extract. Never had anything I couldn't take out with the exception of red juice stains. Gotta find a working process for red stains.

TOL's Rug ReNew works great for me either diluted or full strength.

Can you use Rug Renew in the extractor? I am using Stoners Carpet Cleaner but would like to try an extractor cleaner/rinse added to the water.

I use Rug Renew in my extractor. 3oz per 5 gal water.

303 carpet cleaner and spot remover is awesome. It removes tough stains and leaves minimal residue.

I use Rug renew through an extractor. It is designed for that. It is low foaming and works well.

I've never put a cleaner IN my extractor.
I have great success applying an APC directly to the carpet, with agitation..
