carpet cleaning help

I just bought a 99 2dr 2wd tahoe. The inside is quite filthy. The carpet being the worse. I've detailed on the outside alot. But as far as the inside. It was mainly just vaccum, etc.

I will have some pictures up later on today.



What should I use to go about cleaning my carpet? stains, etc.
 
Vacuum your interior thoroughly (important). Start in a small section and mist Folex on it. Get a small brush with softer bristles and agitate the carpet, like how you wash your hair. Let it dwell for 10 - 15 minuts. Take a small towel, run it under hot water and ring it out. Then start scrubbing the dirt out of the carpet. If I were going to clean carpet with little to no tools thats how I would do it.

So could I ust just folex and a bissel little green man? Or should I go ahead by a steamer and extractor? If so, what kind? I'm on a budget as well.

If you're on a budget the cheapest option is to use your wet/dry vac to extract.
