Carnauba?

I have been using sealants or synthetic waxes but I think I want to venture into Carnauba wax. When would you use this instead of a sealant? When do you decided to use it to top a sealant? What carnauba wax would you recommend without breakin the bank? I was thinkin of Moose Wax, S100, Meg #26, Pinnacle SSII, or anyother you recommend?

Those are all very decent waxes, you can use on top of some sealants and in some cases you might have to wait for the sealants to cure(8-12hrs) to ensure bonding. As far as prices goes, it all depends on what your budget is . From what I hear P21s 100% seems to surpass many expensive carnauba waxes out there.

another one to add what's already listed...

What kind of durability does the 100% have and is it better then the regular P21s?

Well durability on any kind of beauty wax does not seem to last more than 3-4 weeks. As far as the appearance goes, most here prefer the newer version

$50 is more then i would wanna spend lol. If I had customers and was paid for my services then I would look into the expensive stuff lol (I know $50 is not expensive for carnauba).

There are plenty of caranubas in that range also, from what i hear, Clear Kote makes some real good products. Poorboys Natty(red, blue) s100, p21s just to name a few. If you are using a nuba, you should use a Glaze and then apply the wax for a real wet look and it wont cost you much either.

Another nice wax that would fit into your budget would be Megs #26, in the paste version.

EDIT: I also forgot about FK 1000P, even though it's not a true carnuba.

Clear Kotes carnauba moose is nice. I have some that I use on clients cars and they always love the way their cars look. Light colors or dark, its a great wax. Plus its easy to put on and take off.

AGREED on CMW. I have tried it on my two cars. One is white and one is black. It looks great on both. I have not yet tried it on a metallic color.

optimum car wax...a gallon would last you a lifetime on your car only....its a great spray wax...its the only stuff I have used on my car since buying it in january. compliments ONR quite well, and its super easy to use
