Carnauba wax in energy pills.

I was just at the drug store and I was looking at ViVarin, No-Doze, Ultra pep-back. I was looking at the ingredients and found with the No-Doze that the second inactive ingredient was Carnauba wax. How funny is that?
I ended up going with the Ultra Pep-Back, but I bet if I would have used the No-Doze my Aura would be shinnier. Its gonna be a long drive from FL to NC.
 
You might be surprised what you find carnauba wax in. Look at your Tic Tac ingredients sometime. They use carnauba in a lot of candy and medicines as part of the shell. They also use it in a lot of cosmetics if you can believe that. Anything that needs a shell or gloss is something that likely has carnauba wax in it. Even cheese coatings can be made from carnauba wax.
 
Weird...I wonder how much carnauba wax I've consumed throughout my life, not counting the jars of Souveran and Natty's I've eaten....(JK!) :D

It surprised me too that carnauba wax is so widely used in consumable products. I started a thread not too long ago about how I noticed it is an ingredient in Swedish Fish candy.
