Hi guys,

Anyone here tried CarLack68 before? Any comments about the product?

I read that its very similiar to AJ and results are excellent when topped with a carnauba?

Carlack is Jeff's Werkstatt. Look for reviews on his stuff saying thats the brand its sold under here in the US. Acrylic Jett and Prime are both carlack products...

Oh and :geez ...

Tyler and Justin are hypersensitive...

Yes, basically they are the same. There are differences though. The two lines are a bit off-balance because Jeff has his own blends, and Carlack has heavier polishes and compounds which are not available in the States. If you want to order the complete range, you must go to Europe to acquire the Scratch Remover and the Compound, while USA will give you the Carnauba Jett, and the Glos products. The CL68/Prime and the Long Life Sealant/Acrylic Jett are the same and totally interchangeable.

Hey, I resemble that comment :rofl I didn't realize the Carlack line was that extensive. Interesting. I love using acrylics because they offer you so much flexibility in terms of LSPs. Plus I enjoy using Sonus Acrylic Glanz and Spritz (one of my favorite QD's) with the acrylic systems. Sheesh, I almost sound like a manicurist.

To the original poster... if you have access to the Carlack system, go for it. Carlack, Jeff's, and Klasse are all winners in my book, but I think AJ is easier to use than SG.

Shokar was what Jeff's Prime and Jett are--the import/marketing agreement that was to be Shokar fell through, and Jeff's stepped in (based on events previously posted on Autopia, I have no personal knowledge of this).

Does this Werkstatt guy ever offer discounts on his site? The CJ spray looks really interesting. He has a nice write up describing it. None of that BS I read on other sites about the spray products for 4*, Wolfgang and Detailers Pride.

LoL I actually have some but have never used it...So I cant talk...

Jeff dosent offer discounts, if you ask me its a good price, aswell as a great product....Yes my sig. says it all I love the stuff...

how does shokar enter the picture here

Chris Pace from eShine in Canada was originally interested in importing the Carlack 68 product line and was going to do so under the Shokar label.
