Car wash

My favorite soaps that I`m still using are:

- Gyeon Bathe
- Adams Car Shampoo
- Auto Fanatic 007 Snow Storm Shampoo
- Poorboys Super Slick & Suds
- Griots Car Wash

Managed to pick up 32oz of optimum car wash locally for $11. Washed 2 coated cars with it and it’s pretty impressive. Foam out of a cannon is not as thick and runs a bit quicker than Adam’s or Reset (my go to soaps). It also doesn’t feel as slick to the touch/glide. But it’s cleaning power is excellent and rinsing seemed easier. My exhaust tips looked like I gave them a good cleaning although I just did a quick swipe with a mitt. Have to use this a lot more to see if it can replace Adam’s. Some random things I noticed: the suds also lasted really long (hours) on my driveway & the soap seemed to dry out my hands much more than anything else I use.

Mike, I bought this soap last winter. Only used it once until yesterday. Incredible lubricity and all other attributes seem to be as we`d hope for. Great stuff, incredible rich foam for those into that scene.

This is what you buy when cost is no object.

OK, top p., where did you buy this One-Pure Shampoo from?? I do see that there is a USA-distributor for this Australian-based company, Aenso USA.
(Sorry, no link due to forum rules)

Speaking of "cost is no object" I think the cost I saw on the internet was $99.95 US for 5 liters (1.32 gallons or 167 fluid ounces for those metric-volume illiterate). The available smaller size 500 ml (16.9 fluid ounces) sells for $20.
Not dissing or criticizing your purchase; the best is never cheap.

(Hey, Captain Obvious, why don`t YOU buy the 5-liter jug as a "group buy" and then just send out samples FOR FREE to those who posted in this thread as your way of saying "Thank You" for your posts. Just sayin`...)

Lonnie, here are the stats from Amazon on that purchase:

TAC Mystic Bubble > Reset > Garage Therapy One > Labocosmetica Semper.

All great shampoos with their own USP - Mystic is the best all rounder based on my preferences. Used 6 or 7 others including the blue Adam`s shampoo which sadly I bought in bulk and is massively overrated.

Hey, this exact soap was reviewed in this forum by kevincwelch in April, 2017 ! See the well-written thread:

Trouble is, there website is STILL under maintenance, making it hard to determine the viability of this company and its USA distributor, which seems to based out of Port Washington, WI on its Facebook account.

Any idea where you can purchase Garage Therapy One in the U.S.?

Can`t help there unfortunately. It`s good, smells epic but it`s definitely not quite as foamy or ultra slick as mystic bubble.

Seems to be a little milder than the other ones hence why I always keep it around if I`m using polish angel lsps for example!

Thanks hadn`t seen that thread! I would agree with everything written - Mystic is a more cost effective and slicker version of CarPro Reset which is widely thought of as the most complete shampoo for coated cars. Word is starting to get out about it on UK forums - unsurprisingly the reviews are universally positive and it even won a couple of shampoo shootouts which included Reset.

There are many free rinsing shampoos but Mystic and Reset are what I would describe as quickly free rinsing... your typical shampoo takes around 5-10 seconds of water contact to be removed from the surface otherwise they can leave a film which, despite being `pure` shampoos, can masks LSP performance.

Yeah no more distributors for Tacs in the US so Mystic is alot more expensive than Reset.
