I have finally broken down and ordered a foamgun. It is due to arrive Tuesday. I am also waiting for Autogeek to release thier new foamgun
soap. I want to find something that will produce good foam in the interim.
Meguiars has a new Super Soap in their Detailer line I am thinking about,
Chemical Guys also has a new Maxi Suds 2 and their new Extreme Body
wash. Anybody use these in a foamgun yet. I would like to order today
online if I must so I can get it by Wednesday. I would also take suggestions or OTC brands so I can use it this week while I am off work on vacation.

I use the CG Maxi Suds II in my foamgun and have made a pre mix solution of it. 6-8 ounce of soap mixed in with 1 gallon of distilled water. I use setting 3 on the foamgun and it make a great deal of suds. I can only imagine if you use the Maxi Suds straight what it will do.

I agree with making a diluted soap and water using straight soap can get expensive. IMHO it's a waist of a good product.

I noticed in past threads that you use CG products. I am interested in a
good dressing to do engine compartment and wheel wells. You have a
preference in their line for this application?

I have not used or tried any of those types of products as I have found other things i like. For underhood stuff such as rubber and plastic i use In and Out Spray. Adams is the one that brought this to light but it is made by this company and i buy it from them. Is about half the cost of Adam. I call them and order it buy the case. Works out to be about 4.00 per can

Wheel wells i use No Touch Tire foam.
