Car Wash Question

I currently use Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash on my Klassed car, but I find that it sometimes leaves the finish not feeling as slick and glossy as I would like it to after a typical wash. Is there any car wash out there I could buy locally that would leave a super-slick finish while enhancing gloss?

My new favorite is Duragloss 901. This stuff leaves a slick finish and no spots. Great lubrication to. Get it at Carquest.

Also not available locally (hope all these "not local" suggestions aren't bugging you :o ) but *my* favorite on SG- Griot's Car Wash. It doesn't *restore/increase* slickness, but it cleans well and doesn't strip SG (I'm going on 12 months since my last coat of SG, still holding up great on the family beater).

For what you're after, I'd just use a Klasse-friendly QD after the wash.

The Sonus wash available in the Autopia store was made for Klasse. I like it however I'm still not used to the lack of suds; it is still very effective though.

I just recieved 1z Perls Shampoo, this is the best stuff I've ever used, leaves a real slick finish when your done, like no other, it's a little expensive but I'm sold. Does anyone know where it can be bought locally (any major chains carrying it), or is it only available online?:up

in Weaver, AL carries 1Z products. That's as local as local can be for an online site. 1Z is not sold in retail chains.

I've been using Megs Gold Class, Tropi-Care (old, not tested the new one yet). I here Poorboy's has a new car wash coming out soon, this should be interesting. I also want to checkout some 1Z Perls in the near future.

One man's opinion:

Premium

P21S is my fave. 1Z is used periodically and I am using the ultra-expensive Pinnacle on the wife's Camry. Z-7 before any serious polishing job.

Affordable

NXT, Duragloss, Eagle One Wet

Have fun!

A big thank you to everyone for their input! I tried the Eagle One Wet Car Wash and it is absolutely awesome. It blows away every other product I have tried in terms of suds, shine and overall gloss. Many thanks once again!

I used the EO for a couple of years, and tried the NXT wash last trip to the local, I like it better than the EO, matter of fact I have to go tommorow for some more wash and will get the NXT again. For local / in town , stuff it works great....
