Car Wash Mixes

I recently got a Griot Garage catalogue, and notice they recommend mixing car wash and car wax, for the perfect wash mix. This got my thinking, has anyone else tried this with different products??



I tried, Meg #00 wash with #26 and a bit of FI it washed clean with no visible streaks.... or was this a bad idea??
 
I dunno, there are a lot of waxes I wouldn't want on my glass or rubber trim (or tires). That "secret potion" of Griot's...well, I sure wouldn't want their BOS wax on those surfaces.



The #00, #26, #34 mix doesn't sound like a bad way to go if you DO want to do it, though. Maybe throw a little #62 into the mix as well. If it worked for you, cool.
