Dear Friends
Upon mjlinane's suggestion, I tried Optimum Car Wash and it thoroughly impressed me. Prior to Optimum's soap, I'd tried Mother's (with carnauba) and Detailer's Pro Series Xtreme Foam Formula. The Xtreme Foam Formula left a better shine than the Mother's, but Optimum Car Wash beats both handily.
Then mjlinane was fortunate enough to receive a tractor trailer load of Blackfire products, and he tried the new Wet Diamond Conditioning Shampoo and said it was a step above Optimum Car Wash.
So I opted to receive a sample of Blackfire's soap with an order I placed, and once I tried it, I was uncertain about its results on our white '12 Odyssey. I was certain the wash dried much better than anything I'd tried before, but after trying a second sample, I still don't know which soap leaves our van glossier.
Optimum Car Wash isn't cheap but it's much less expensive than Blackfire Wet Diamond Conditioning Shampoo. Remembering mjlinane's astounding pictures of his work, I went ahead and bought a gallon of Blackfire's new soap when it went on sale a few weeks ago.
Now I have about one-third to a half-gallon of Optimum Car Wash and an entire gallon of Blackfire's soap, so I should be stocked up for quite a while.
If anyone is near Buford, Georgia, USA, he/she/they is/are welcome to come over and try the four soaps I mentioned in this post--with a pressure washer and foamer.
