car shampoo

I tried FK 118 and it blew me away. Slick, lots of suds that don't go flat, and excellent cleaning. Adds a bit of sparkle to the paint, something that I don't get with Meg's Gold Class or TOL Bubble Bath. Really wanting to try out Optimum, though.

Poorboys SS&S and Optimum Wash are my favorites for conventional washing. I use GC in the foamgun since it's $10/gal so I can ramp up the concentration a bit without breaking the bank.

I just picked up some of the Duragloss wash yesterday - hoping to try it out in the next day or two.

I'll stick my neck out and say that the best overall car wash soap is Griot's. It's the standard against which I compare all the other soaps I've purchased in the past and continue to purchase (in hopes of finding one even better). I haven't found one yet that's as well-balanced in terms of slickness/lubricity, cleaning ability, and sudsing, while still being mimimally harsh on lsp's. It smells great, too. To me, it's the soap everyone should try at least one time (as plenty people have) before deciding what they consider to be the best.

(And really, if it's good enough for Accumulator's wash regimen...)

Meguiar's NXT Car Wash. I've used everyday for over 10 months now. To me it's a total package. Cleaning, shining, and sheeting......
