These are bad questions to ask. There really is no "BEST". Best is in the eyes of the beholder, if that makes sense. Might want to search around the forums and see what others are using. Two of my favorites are P21S and Four Star Ultimate.

Danase is right; "best" is pretty much subjective for this kind of stuff. However, my favorite conventional wash is Sonus Gloss shampoo. If you're looking for suds, you probably won't care for it, as it doesn't produce a lot of foam. It does, however, provide awesome lubrication, rinses very clean, and leaves a bit of its own polymer behind as a gloss enhancer. Great stuff, IMO.

Tort

The Meg gold class (got the Golds mixed up, lol)seems nice for OTC, it's very sudsy and slippery. I have heard great things about Poorboys, which I want to try. Also heard great things about Duragloss, which a local CarQuest has and I plan on grabbing.

Megs GC or Duragloss 901

Or Megs GC with a splash of DG 901.

Man-Law: A man shale refer to anything that foams and cleans as SOAP.

Hand-Soap

Hair-Soap

Car-Soap

Pet-Soap

The use and reference of “Pet Shampoo is permitted when washing a K9 animal, only if said animal can fetch slippers or guard property.

All cats get SOAP.

I stick with what works for me, and that's Griot's..

Same here. Not inexpensive, but a very good shampoo that performs exactly the way I want it to. Just bought a few more gallons of it.

Actually, I've used the Griot's shampoo to wash the dogs before, worked fine.

I'm partial to CG's Wash & Gloss, suds galore and one of the best if not the best as far as lubricity is concerned. A little goes a long way.

I have been using Turtle Wax platinum car wash. I got 1-1/4 gallon for $4 at big lots, so its a decent wash with lots of suds and smells great. There are so many choices, if I can't find this stuff at big lots again, I'm probably getting the Megs gold class next.

I started off by using Meguiars Gold Class car wash. I bought a whole gallon from Costco, so I haven't finished using it yet. It is pretty much accepted in the autopian community and the price is not bad at all.

This stuff is great, but it streaks horribly if you let it dry on the car. The sudsing is really good, so I'm going to try diluting it down more than Meg's recommends...of course, tonight I'm off to K-Mart in search of blowout NXT wash...and the hose has been put away in favor of QEW until it warms up a bit...

For me it is Meguiar's Gold Class FTW! I feels like no other soap and makes the paint feel so good after a wash! I love the stuff.
