Hey..winter's coming and i am looking at getting a nice set of mats for the snow..however...i have yet to find some that covers the hump in the rear.

any ideas?

I don't have much info to go on (What make, model car, what state/country do you live in etc) But try AutoSport.com

Now you can enjoy the comfort and elegance of carpeting while protecting your vehicle's floor

Our custom-fit Catch-All floor protectors use a moisture barrier and molded outer edge to "catch" dirt, mud, snow and water. Best of all, they're easy to clean--just hose them off. Thanks to special stain protectors, Catch-All mats can take the abuse in stride. Custom-made nylon carpet for popular trucks, SUV's, and cars, in this year's OEM carpet colors. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.

thanks guys....yeah i tried weathertech and they have mats for my 03 camry, however..they don't cover the hump in the back.

By the way, I use Weathertech in my car. Nice and heavy. They are only semi-custom fit. The rear mats tend to get push around by the 7 & 9 years old's feet. They don't cover the hump.

Maybe this is an option...

Go to the local fabric store, pickup a vinyl remnant (12"x36") that kinda matches your existing mats. While you're there, get some Velcro strips. Make sure your existing mats will accept the Velcro (smooth backside). Bingo!

Hope that makes sense...

thank you everyone.....you were all very helpful.

i was still hoping that there was a specialty mat that would protect the hump but i guess i will give your idea a try jimamary.

thanks

Quote: Ummm...autosport.com is a motorsports website. Don't think there will be any car mats there.

2wheelsx2 you’re correct in both instances should be – Auto Sport Catalogue http://www.autosportcatalog.com

We are from snow country. I advise hundreds of my customers to purchase a shower mats from K Mart, Target etc. the type that has the rubber backing. Use these throughout the vehicle especially the drivers side. Take them up every couple of weeks and throw them in the washer. Your carpets will stay new forever.
