\If a customer tells me they do not have the time or do not want to go through the hassle, i cant force them to take better car. I have to meet them at a happy medium, meaning I have to show them to the lesser of two evils. If that means they get minor marring from a CCD then so be it...it is certainly better then them wiping the car down with other materials that are worse. CCD is a simple and quick. They will be willing to do that then if I tell them they have to QD and wipe the car down\

I know exactly what you're sayin'. I take care of a few cars for friends and it's far easier to teach them to use a CCD properly than to let them do far more damaging things to keep the car clean when wiping off dust. Some people are just diligent enough to be dangerous when caring for their car once I show them how a true clean car and paint job can look.



I'm still trying to convince my dad that wiping the car down with clean microfibers after driving through the car wash isn't acceptable, as the car isn't clean........but it used to be cotton towels, so it's a start.
