Car Colors . . . What to get???

I think that I made a good decision. Is is sporty, and I have a feeling that I will not have any problems when it comes time to sell.

Thanks for all of your input. It helped a great deal. Ok, well, now I must get into beach mode. Work is almost over, and the ocean is calling.

It is supposed to be in the mid 80's all weekend. Lots of sun. Tan, here I come :xyxthumbs .

Take care all.

Maryland VW... nice choice!

Do your self a favor and get yourself a radar detector, if you don't already have one. Red cars tend to draw more attention than any other color other than bright yellow...you want the warning about the "radar rangers" ahead!

A friend of mine on the PD works in the traffic enforcement division...no matter what color red or yellow the manufacturers call them, the Police call them "stop me red" and "stop me yellow"

Only two problems with silver:

1. Tough to find a body shop that can match the paint properly. I noticed a very nice BMW that had repairs done on the left rear door - to me it was obvious, but to most they will never notice. Call it the curse of a good eye.

(don't get in an accident, and this won't be a problem)

2. To some, doesn't look as good detailed compared to black and other dark colors.

All the postives:

1. Never (rarely) looks really dirty

2. Stays cooler than dark colors

3. Personally, I think it looks very "classy"

Funny how all the autopians want a silver car because it doesn't show swirls. Takin' the easy way out, eh? :D

Go with a dark color like red, blue, or black. Notin looks better than a detail dark color'ed car.
