Does the color of the car have any effect on the polish or swirl remover you use? I know with certain color cars there are glazes and LSP that people choose over others. Is this the case for polish/swirl removers?
I too disregard the basecoat color when choosing a polish for b/c paint. Even though some colors will look OK with a process that'd look less-than-swell on black, treating every color as if it *were* something demanding pays off for me every time.
On single stage, I generally assume (and you know that they say about *that* but anyhow...) that whites will be hard and blacks will be soft. That *usually* pans out, but there will always be wildcards.
