car care kit - what to include

After getting so many requests from my clients on what to use for car care after I detail their cars, I connected with a product manufacture and had my own line of products developed.

What products would you want in a "KIT" for washing your car after being coated, or detailed?

I have two kits ready to go for clients:

Kit 1
QD, Spray wax, Car shampoo, 2 WW drying towels, 4 MF towels

Kit 2
QD, Spray wax, Waterless wash concentrate, 10 MF towels

Would you recommend stocking tire dressing and applicators, APC, glass cleaner, etc? Or leave it at the basics, and stop there?

A dressing is a must IMHO, APC no, Glass cleaner everyone owns some.

I would start with a basic kit and if it's popular or people want more products make other kits (beginner, intermediate, advanced).

I think a good beginner kit would be:
  • QD that can do interior and exterior (optional)
  • Spray wax (optional)
  • WW drying towel
  • MF towels
  • Grit guard
  • Two buckets (with your logo)
  • Wash mitt (microfiber dreadlock ones are cheap and work well)
  • Tire/Trim Dressing

I'm no pro like you guys but I stopped using QD's since waterless washes. I like Blackfire Waterless Wash Concentrate. 1:4 ratio. I just feel like QD's don't lift the dust/dirt off like a waterless wash. I will do a regular wash if more than just dusty.
