I just wanted to know if anyone has used car brite products and how they rate to products like Meguires and S100? I have never used a car brite product before but I was wondering if someone has and can let me know how they stack up against the others out there.

Carbrite is a professional line of detailing product, used by detailer and detailers, sold by jobbers, or from professional detail supply stores. I used a product called cutting glaze and was not satisfied, I perfer other polishes.

Car Brite is based here in Indianapolis. I plan to visit them next week. They have many products/categories. They tend to appeal to high volume/auction type reconditioners. They offer training and work with the Big Three automakers.

I hope to have more info next week.

They have been around for years. I can remember using their stuff on my first couple of cars back in the 80's. They made a great cleaner called "Power-Pak". We bought it at a local paint/detailing supply place. I haven't been there in years, so I don't know what thier product line looks like now.

OK thanks for the replies. Basically it was brought to my attention by a friend. I am looking to clay my car sometime before the winter hopefully. Any suggestions as to which one to use? I knew carbrite had one so that is what prompted that question. I have also heard outstanding reviews for a product called clay magic.

Clay Magic is a favorite of Autopians. You should be able to find it at Auto Zone. Mother's clay kit is also very good and is widely used here and it's available almost everywhere.

Scott P,

Are you refer to Aratari's and Roch auto auto color on Carter. I love that place and they are less than 5 min from me.

Power-Pak

What would power-pak be similar to from other manufactors?

Eric

That's the place I was talking about. I've been meaning to stop by there one of these days to check stuff out, but haven't gotten around to it.

I don't know enough about other current products to find something comparable.
