Can't Please Everybody

For some reason, people that have absolute garbage pit vehicles are the pickiest when it comes to cleaning it up. They seem to have unreasonable expectations for their rolling landfills.

Amen to that. Ironically, in 99.9% of those details, the vehicle looks like a rolling dumpster within a week... :werd:

Oh well, you can't win them all. However, do you have any close up shots of the rims? I'd like to see what the owner griped about after the restoration that you did.

And when he does come back to you...and he will.....you can tell him to take a flying f'n leap...which will make it all worth it....and to be honest guys like this are bad advertisement...their car was detailed by you 5 days ago or whatever and he has already trashed it out...it doesnt leave people with a great impression because it doesnt reflect any of your work

thanks for the good info, I should have looked at it from s different perspective but the last time something like this did happen to me there was no middle man. This set me off more because of the condition of this vehicle.

No, I wish I did, I didn't do any miracles with them but they were clean and acceptable.

Yeah, that looks pretty much new from the pictures. The before shots reminds me of my brother-in-laws car.

Just curious, what do you use to clean the plastic covering the gauge cluster to keep it from scratching and what cleaner to keep it from fogging? A microfiber cloth?

Any service based industry your going to get somebody like him, you should be in my line of work with Private Equity/Venture/Commercial etc, I deal with some real shmuckos here and there.......and I love putting them in their place :xyxthumbs . I just had one guy who I just had no more patience for to deal with, way to busy so I'll tell people either take it or leave it. Guy kept jerking around, told him I needed an answer in 24hrs, didn't get a call so I shredded his documents, he calls back days later and I told him deals over and good luck getting your company started and possibly public eventually. We had one of the only institutions interested, but he's cut off now.

Don't let people jerk you, I'd have called the guy back up and explained all the work "I" had just done to get the truck back in the shape.
