Can't get the reflection off the dash?

I have an 03 Ford Mustang and this past weekend used Meguiars Pro vinyl and rubber treatment and then buffed off it left a no shine look/satin but I stilk get a reflection in the windshield anything I can do with this? Is this just common on these cars it seemed like it did it from the factory? Thanks:up

If you wiped it down and still get a shine, i would take a black towel and lay it on the dash while you drive. this should take car of the reflection
