Canon 1100D (rebel T3) vs Nikon D3100

Photography is a lot like detailing. Having a Flex high end rotary and Menzerna polishes is not necessarily going to give you better results than a cheap rotary with Poorboy's Polishes. They are all tools in the hands of artisans.
 
Just picked up a T3 Canon, I already have the lenses from my old film Canon camera so it was inevitable I was going with Canon. Some of you pros may know this already but I just read that the shutters have a life expectancy on SLR and DSLR cameras :eek: Apparently there is a count called "Shutter Actuations" (number of times the shutter is activated before it craps out.

Freaked me out reading about it lol :D until I realized it would probably take me a long long time to go over the limit.
