Personally, I think it's better to apply CM to a dry car. Not because it's not doable to use as you dry, but because it's rather pricey and for maximal effect I'd think it'd be best to use it non-diluted (i.e. not on a wet car). I would just use something like Quickshine or 425 if I was going to apply something while drying (esp. if I have one of these in gallon size).
